chapter 133 post-resurrection and subsequent death Lute
➾ Growing up, Lute was closest to his mother.
✟ ever since he was little he liked spending time brushing her hair for her, so brushing his own hair now feels very lonely.
✟ since she was bedridden during her pregnancy with Flute, he'd sit in bed with her and entertain both her and the baby with stories.
✟✟ sometimes he'd even jump up act out those stories or use little puppets and give them all different voices.
✟ Horn was both proud and sad when he was appointed High Priest, and it took him a very long time to understand why it upset her too.
➾ Lute doesn't like eating meat.
✟ it makes him feel bad because he loves animals.
✟ is not a vegetarian however, he will eat meat just very little.
✟ does not mind milk or eggs at all though.
➾ Lute is physically hypersensitive.
✟ spent fifteen years with his soul detached from his body where at the most he could see and hear, it was a bit of a shock to have the rest of his senses returned all at once.
✟ luckily he had enough willpower to keep from reacting to every little thing, but he'll still loose himself if he's not careful, even if it's something as simple as drying his hands.
✟ does NOT like the feeling of water or anything dripping down his body, so he'll avoid going out in the rain and prefers a bath over a shower.
✟✟ having died, it makes him him think of crawling bugs and maggots and the like, even though it's not something he actually experienced.
✟ keeps some things that he just likes to touch, like stones, a feather, a pine cone, even a raccoon skull named Theo(short for Theorbo; which is an Italian string instrument)
➾ Lute tries to make it a point to keep from loosing control of his emotions
✟ having the unique ability to toss around raw power without it being focused into a spell, when he lost control of his anger buildings toppled around him.
✟ the same sort of thing would happen as a toddler if he threw a tantrum, the walls of the castle would shake and everyone would scramble to calm him down.
✟ this is another reason why he smiles so much, it keeps him in the habit of staying calm.
✟ will not cry in front of others if he can help it.

✟ while magic will always be his favorite subject, he'll delve into books about herbs and healing, different medical practices both holistic and traditional. It's another way to protect people for him.
✟ also fond of history, alchemy, and science, more likely to be found reading a text book then a fiction book
✟ was commander of his country's armies, so that would mean he has a keen mind for strategy and tactical movement
✟✟ enjoys playing strategy games like checkers and chess
➾ Lute has trouble judging the passage of time.
✟ time was a haphazard, foggy thing while he was under Bass' control.
✟ tends to get absorbed into the things he does, so he'll often loose track of how long he's been in a place or doing a thing.
➾ Lute has not gone unchanged during his time as Bass' puppet.
✟ never had a chance to grow up, physically or emotionally
✟ has matured some mentally, having had a lot of time to think and come to decisions and realizations on his own
✟ some of the things he witnessed and was forced to be a part of in the demon world are too horrible to name.

✟ Unfortunately seems to understand how demons interact better then humans now.
➾ Lute is both observant and oblivious.
✟ given all he could do as Bass' puppet was watch and listen, he's far more observant now, and is content sitting and watching the things that go on around him.
✟ being a sheltered prince there are a lot of things about social interaction he doesn't understand, so he tends to come off as completely lost in a lot of situations.

✟ likes touching and being touched, hugging and cuddling and just being near someone
✟ sleeps better if someone he cares about is cuddled up with him.

✟ will likely crumble if a woman starts screaming at him for whatever reason, his mother was very scary when angry.
✟ because he's a boy from a matriarchal society, part of him expects to end up like his father - easily forgotten.

✟ isn't asexual exactly, he's just never given it much thought. There was always something more important to worry about.
✟ as a prince in a matriarchal kingdom, he'd have been married off to a princess in another kingdom for political reasons, since his sister is the one destined for the throne, so he never gave much thought to falling in love.
✟ does have a very epic, fairytale view of what love is supposed to be like regardless.
✟ is more likely to fall for someone's personality over gender, drawn to kindness and gentleness.

✟ It's like magic, creating something that wasn't there before, only you can eat it when you're done.
✟ keeps a whole assortment of cookbooks.
✟ does very well when following recipes, but when he tries to come up with something all on his own it's bound to end in catastrophe.
✟ Also enjoys experimenting with various kinds of tea, and surprisingly does very well with it.

✟ had a crisis of faith during his time with Bass -hell even Jesus had a crisis of faith at one point
✟ over time he saw that all the things he believed in and had divined were actually coming true
✟ came full circle, and it was his faith in God and his love for his sister that gave him the strength to break through Bass' control
✟ gets so confused by people who don' believe in god, because religion is such a big part of his world
✟ believes that anyone can be saved, and is deserving of kindness and forgiveness.
