It's worrying how many roads out of Sheffield are blocked today. They include my "safe route" the one that I take when the weather's bad and I don't want to risk going on Snake Pass.

Yeah, ended up staying in Sheffield. Mike managed to get home, although he said town was like a car park. I don't think I would have made it to Halifax, since all the roads up that way were underwater. Hopefully it should be ok today though!

Aw poor kat! Did you break into the vending machines - we were all just discussing what we'd do if stuck in your situation. Liberating the chocolate was first thing on survival list. Fortunately we are based in a hospital, so throwing the weak and feeble out to liberate a bed for the night came next on the list.
