Peg, I'd love to see your violins. I was hoping to have a job by now so I could get myself an electric one (so I dont torture the cats while practicing). Think you can teach me how to not make my ears ring?

I know my post is late, but I dont keep tabs too often. At the risk of sounding like a parot, I will echo Chii and say that you definatly should not hold it over your mom that she didnt let you come see your dad. Esspecially if some thing were to happen, you two would need eachother so much. It would only be poision in a wound if you two were to start hurting one another as well. God willing nothing will happen though.
I am going to tread as lightly as I can here, but girl I know you had a job offer, and didnt take it. And that is all I will say about that.
For the last thing, I totally agree with you that you went out of your way to do some thing nice for your mom, and then she throws a fit over some thing small. She really dose need to appologize for that.
Anyway, I hope that you and your mom can come to an understanding between yourselves. Hey, try thinking of how and WHY you would act in a certain way and compare it to what your mom has done. You may find it enlightening. *shrugs* or not.
