It's pretty stupid that their teaching hip-hop in schools...If you want to learn about hip-hop, get to know some fucking artists.

i think if you appreciate hip hop, you would appreciate the class. it's about more than music... consider the title "theory and culture." you don't learn that from an artist alone, but through an examination and analysis of the music, art, and dance that comprises hip hop culture.
think before you speak. especially anonymously... that's just cowardly.
