Chapter Five: It's DLC! Really!

Sep 15, 2011 20:01

[Today would be an interesting day for sure. Because every day means there are new possibilities of excitement and adventure! And that was Kanata's surest goals to do within his time in Mayfield! Of course, it wouldn't be an adventure if you're not dressed for one right? But that's when an idea came to mind ( Read more... )

[and who better to keep up on the fashions than Lucius, Dark Hero and Also a Master of Style]

I hear leather jackets are the way to go with these sorts of things.

And also, hair gel. But don't you dare copy the tension gauge! We are rivals, but in competing with me in style, you're decades behind!

[Truly there is no one better.]

Leather jackets, huh? Does it matter if it's studded or have patches on it or things like that? There's so many kinds here! Oh oh, wait! What about getting someone to make my own, do you think there are places that can do that like for our weapons?

And don't worry, I don't need that cow lick when I've got these ears! But that aside, how do you use this gel thing anyway? It smells and looks so weird!

You could probably get someone to make you some new clothes, for sure. My Dark Hero Vestments were all custom made. The world has yet to catch up with me in style! Though I guess any of these leather jackets would come close to my love of zippers and straps!

Hair gel? Well... you kind of just... rub it into your hair until you get a hairstyle you want and it'll just stick like that. It takes excessive care and gel to keep this tension gauge exactly the way I want it! Which, by the way, is still vastly superior to animal ears. Ladies love a character with a tension gauge!

Zippers, straps and maybe some belt loops then? Maybe some tattoos all over my arms and face! And a whole new hair style for the sequel! Yeah! I can see it now! All new DLC content for the next game just to have us wear our first game outfit!

[Oh. Then don't mind him trying to dump the entire thing on his head and starts messing around with his hair. Kinda having this weird look on his face too as he does so.]

Oh weird! It feels just as funny as it smells! Are you sure this is supposed to help? I would hope that there is some instructions on how to get a good hair style by using this stuff.

W-Whoa... that's amazing, Flonne! I don't think Tsubaki has ranks in fashion style at all either, so that's even more helpful!

... so what kind of stuff do you think would help me?

[From behind him, there is Ruri, really, someone probably should put a bell on that girl given her silent walking up powers]

I don't think that look is good for you Kanata....

WAH!

[He's going to jump in surprise at that sudden Ruri from behind. Give him a minute or so to get his heart to stop beating so fast.]

Whew... man, Ruri. You nearly scared the mess outta me. I'm not a cat, I don't have nine lives for that sort of thing. Anyway, you don't think this is good? Aw... and here I thought it was a good fit for me. So what do you recommend then?

Well, first I'd get the gel out of your hair, there's probably a danger of it getting into your ears, but maybe you want to find a look that is more in tune from where you come to?

Oh, so no gel then, huh? How do I get rid of it then if it's already on my hair? It's kinda slick and weird and filmy and all sorts of gross. I said weird already, right?

And something similar to where I am from... [He glances down at his current attire, which is pretty much eastern world royalty. Then looks around at the store to see what is similar to that.] I think I'll need more help with that part, Ruri.
