Supposedly there's a way, they have it for commuter students, but I never learned how to. Plus, I'm not sure it'd work for me at the moment, as "technically" I'm not enrolled as a Goucher student this semester.

you had to be accessing the internet from a goucher web server. So you could do it from campus, but not off campus. You didn't have to log into anything to search the database.
