Yes we are actually.
And so, we have added the "Are you afraid yet" post of your blog to the Best-Bird-Flu-Blogs sections of our site!
Mind you, there is still a chance, that the H5N1 virus will not mutate in to a human virus and therefore, the human pandemic may never come to pass, if we are all very lucky:)

Cool. I checked out your site. I've been out of school for awhile, but science use to always be one of my favorite subjects. Might be what lead to my morbid personality. (Dissecting is so AWESOME!) But it's still nuts. Recreating a virus that could have taken out the world population? At least it died out itself before it could do anymore damage. But it is a relief to know that the Avian Flu (H5N1) at this time can't mutate and be able to infect by way of person from person. Have to wonder how a bird could do it though... Anyways, that's just one scary thing. There are plenty of others. (Sleeper cells, anthrax, average joe stupid people...) The world is a scary place. Makes you wonder why we bother to get up everyday. -Demonic Sister Del
