I've lj-friends only'ed several of my recent posts on porn, because I've been linked to on pro-porn blogs lately. The will remain such for a while, but probably not permanently. Just waiting for the storm to end. The main reason for this is they are not only focusing on me, but on my friends and other supportive comments. And they are saying ( Read more... )

Of course, the song itself is about porn. Both the song and her are opposed to porn. Have you read her autobiography? I have, so I know what happened to her ( ... )

Lords claimed on BIOGRAPHY that it was her decision and that's why she keeps her porn-name instead of changing it. Apparently she doesn't like "the industry"--but I notice she still fights for her share of her royalties. (as she should)

Do you think she should make money off her old porn? Or should she prosecute the makers of the porn for rape? (Is that what I understand you to say--that all porn is rape?)

I never read her bio, but didn't she have help getting into the sex industry from the same stepfather who sexually abused her? Or maybe he helped her get her fake ID.. I thought I read something like that somewhere. I know that I always had the impression that she was pushed into it in the first place.

hmmm. i actually don't remember...i'll check.

ok, i just did. it was actually her stepfather who drove her to do porn (after her parents had split), and he knew she was going in for "nude modelling" while she didn't realise that was what it was (she thought it was bathing suits).

Her dad's friend Lynn helped her get a fake ID.

He's a scumbag...
