I am officially a home owner. I closed on my house a few hours ago and I have to admit that I am very excited. Later this evening my parents will come over to the place with me so we can go over the needed changes. The place definitely needs some painting inside. I was hoping to possibly get away w/o having to buy new carpetting, but i'm not so

Awesome!! My parents are redoing parts of their house in hopes to sell it, and with me painting and my mom doing carpet I will tell you it's hardbut soooo worth it to see everything the way you want it to be, all clean and nice. Can't wait for pics, and news of your tame housewarming party.

indeed it will be worth it and yes the housewarming will be on the tamer side (i.e. a dry affair), which is not a bad thing at all. I just hope to get things done soon enough. that's the long part.

it's in brier bay, which is a tad north of okeechobee blvd and jog road.... many food places and such close by as well.. a pretty solid area
