I decided against buying that.

I used to like Merry Gentry.

Then she went all sex sex sex sex. And while I enjoy reading sex...I'd like plot too, thank you very much, particularly since that series had a good plot to start with.

I use to love the Anita Blake books, back when she wasn't screwing everything that moved. And it seems like the Meredith Gentry books pretty much started off that way.

I could get softcore porn stories on the internet for free if I wanted them. Her stuff is all just crap now.

*nods* Anita is losing it's appeal because the crimes and such are taking a MAJOR backseat to the sex, which has little overall need for. And while Merry started that way, at least there was a reason. Maybe (I hope) she might get pregnant already and the plot will once again pick up with her getting the throne and waking the magic of fairy.

Somewhere along the line, I became an optimist...I hope Laurell will get back to plot and that Robert Jordan will finish his series!!! ROFLMAO!!!
