[ History ] :
hereand here [ Personality ] :
Dante is strong and has a lot of power, and with that comes a huge ego to match. Over the years he's calmed down quite a bit, but he's still a cocky, charming womanizer who will flirt with any woman even if they want to kill him. He's quite laid back and rarely loses his temper over something small. Even when there's a sword stuck through his chest, he's calm and takes care of things with simplicity. He will taunt and play with his targets, be them friends or enemies -- mostly enemies. He could be standing in front of the strongest demon of the Underworld and will still dance around it with one strong snide comment before starting the fight. He's fine with people not knowing anything about him -- it leaves more mystery and makes him feel like he has more power over whoever is talking to him.
He's quite playful and loves his pizza and ice cream, but there is a serious side to him. When in a tough situation he'll be more tactical than he usually is. He'll readily help someone out who's in need of it if he doesn't have to go too out of his way -- he usually doesn't, helping whoever is around him is generally done with ease. He'll complain when he isn't paid but once in a blue moon he'll be happy knowing he did something good. He can be loathsome towards those who have a higher authority over him, though he'll readily using demons for his sadistic guilty pleasure.
Dante is definitely not an angsty person. He's headstrong and knows how to get the job done whether it be messy or not. However, if you get on his bad side you'll regret it. Even if Dante is flirtatious and good with his words, when it comes to things such as his feelings he's not exactly an open book. He accepted his human side over his demon side and had a love-hate relationship with his father. Now, he is even more proud of his abilities and accepts who he is, living up to his father's legacy.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
Strengths: Physically, Dante is extremely strong. As a half demon, wounds that would normally be fatal to a human he can heal easily. He can take a wide range of hits to his head and other areas that would kill with a first blow heal quickly and don't phase him at all. However, enough damage will make Dante stagger and/or pass out. He's not invincible and there are magical ways to destroy him. Regular damage would do the trick as well, but it would take a lot more time. He's an excellent combatant and is light on his feet. He excels in the use of most martial weapons and firearms, but specializes in broadswords and favors his twin handguns, Ebony and Ivory. Being a half demon has more advantages than just being able to take a hit. Dante is naturally athletic and can jump higher, run faster and take better falls than a regular human. He can also unleash the demon within and become even stronger, faster and more savage. Nevertheless, that rarely happens and if it does, the use of the demonic blood will fatigue and even injure him to an extent.
Weaknesses: Despite his strengths, his cockiness gets the best of him. He thinks he can take on anything or anyone in front of him and will attempt to do so even if it means death just so his ego wont be damaged. He doesn't lose. Ever. His strong personality could also be considered a weakness, he isn't the most easy person to get along with at times and most people see him as obnoxious.
Magic is also a way to destroy or harm Dante, so he has to be careful not to take too many hits from a spell and not to dive into flames. He can take on blades and bullets, but a fireball will do a lot more than just burn him. Holy water works too.
[ Other Important Facts ] :
None that I haven't said already!
[ Sample ] :
He was just about to take a bite of his pizza when he ended up in some bubble.
"Well, isn't this a problem. I was about to have my pizza and then .." he looks extremely dissatisfied; he hadn't had some time to himself for a bit and he always seemed to get interrupted before that first delicious bite.
Maybe there's something around here like a good pizza shop.
He's barely phased by the wetness of his clothes, even if it was a bit uncomfortable his hunger overpowered the feeling of sopping clothes and he walked down the streets looking for a pizza parlor. A few blocks down and still nothing. "Damn." This wasn't how it was supposed to work out at all.
"First I'm in an unknown world and now he can't find any pizza. What's next, I'm not allowed to leave?"
That would be extremely inconvenient and not okay with him whatsoever. He had business to attend to and women to please. And no one would get in the way of that now, would they? Maybe there are a few ladies here that would be kind enough to give him some information. That would be quite lovely, especially in this kind of situation. They could tend to his needs, couldn't they? He could concentrate on the problems later. Besides, he always got out of whatever problems that made their way to him, no matter what they were.
