The internet is your greatest resource! That is, if you have lots of comp space. If you do, I have so many online anime connections I'm practically on IV. I saw FMA bootleg sub before licensing and a dub ever touched it.
Ah, my computer sucks. But FX puts out decent bootlegs (they just copy the legit US releases, dub/sub and extras and all), and one season or 26 episodes is usually about $25. Then if I find myself liking the series enough, I pick up the legit DVDs.
No, no, natto is nasty. It's BITTER. I didn't so much mind the feels-like-semen-and/or-snot texture, but the taste was AWFUL. It's the only Japanese food I hate, so far. XD I dislike okonomiyaki, but it's at least edible.
Yeah, I know... :/ I wouldn't have had a chance to hang with you, though, the whole thing was really rushed and most of my waking hours were spent in transit anyway. XD
Natto's that fermented soybean stuff that's often served over rice. It's all sticky and gooey and, as I discovered, really bitter and foul-tasting.
Oh, but I found something cool. :3 Japanese jelly cups filled with green tea-flavored soft bean paste.
San Fransico...LUCKY YOU! I would love to go there when I'm older. I'm in stinking NY. Poo. FMA, is a great anime whether dubber or not. I like Ed's voice though. :)
