Demon's break out [WIP]
Give in. I'll end it for you. The pain. The suffering. All of it.
Blake clutched his head, wishing that the voice would just go away. He was glad that he had dropped Avari off at Tyki's the moment that the inner demon began to talk to him. The demon had dropped her off in a rush, offering no explanations before he left again. He knew that he couldn't risk getting those two in danger - especially when Tyki still has that newborn around. The redhead knew that he had to get away before he completely lost it.
He could feel the demon inside of him begging to come out - making empty promises to him to kill the scientist that has awakened the demon from its long slumber. But, Blake continued to resist, to ignore the demon's purr. He knew that even if the demon promised to try to kill the scientist, it would kill everyone else who got in the way as well.
However, his thoughts were abruptly cut off when the voice got louder, bringing a sharp pain to his head. Blake leaned heavily against the wall, realizing that his vision was beginning to turn red. He shook his head furiously, willing the demon to go back to sleep - to stay away from the people that Blake has actually grown to care about during his stay here.
Blake suddenly stiffened, feeling ghostly arms wrap around his shoulders from behind.
Give in Blake, a voice purred in his ear. Let me take control. Let me be the one who will get rid of everything that has threatened you.
Threatened your family.
Give in to me, and I'll make sure no one will ever hurt you again.
The demon growled, frustrated, banging his head against the wall in an attempt to shut the voice up. It did the trick - though it only lasted for only about five minutes. Blake growled again, but the inner demon - the true one - kept pushing. He blamed the scientist for this - for awakening the monster that Blake has made sure to seal away.
He wasn't a fool, after all.
Blake had felt the presence inside of him when he became a demon, and the true demon came out after the first Allen - his Allen - were killed by the Exorcists. But Blake had sealed it away when he became lucid once more. The demon kept his heart hidden from others, knowing that it would only prove to be a link for a weakness that the demon inside would play on.
He tried kill us, Blake! the voice was harsher now, angry. It was upset that the redhead refused to give into it. Didn't he see that it could bring an end to the suffering?
He tried to kill Avari, and you plan on letting him continue to do what he wants? Damn the deal, damn the fucking contract. This is personal now, Blake. And it won't be long until he goes after all of those you've grown to care about. End it now before he has the chance.
You know you need me.
You know that you can't deal with this anymore. So let me take over. For a while.
Blake continued to shake his head, but he could feel himself beginning to give in. He knew that he wouldn't be able to fight his inner demon any longer. When he felt himself slowly being pushed back into his own mind, Blake knew that the demon has finally won.
That's it, give in. The voice purred soothingly.
I won't let anyone else hurt you ever again.
I will be the one who will stand by you always.
