this is the post i was going to make earlier. i was going to follow it with pictures of puka until i noticed how different she looked from that cat at work, and decided to run over and double check. i'll post this anyway, hoping that the cat at work is still my beloved puka-bean.

I still can't believe declawing is legal in the US. :/ I'm so sorry this happened to Puka.

i read something [it was an old article though] about animal mutilation [declawing, tail docking, ear cropping] becoming illegal in california. i 4get whatever became of that story ::goes to google::

i think thats true... non-corrective plastic surgery was banned in CA a while ago.

she is! if dr hackett hadn't claimed her to be a wondeful cat owner or we had atleast looked at the lady's records before we gave puka to her we probably wouldn't have.

You should offer to the woman that if she ever needs a cat sitter that you will do it for free...then you can still check in on Puka. Just a random idea :)
