So after a bunch of false starts we finally had our first practice. It went pretty well, Donny played guitar and Sarah is a wicked bassist. I never intended to be the guitar player, just the singer, and i think there was a bit of a mix up there cuase i'm just learning how to play. couldnt drink cause i drove and that sucked, but at least i got to ( Read more... )

I had fun too, just not as much as you :P
We should hang out again, i just dont think i can this weekend cause i have a killer essay due monday and i work weekends so need nights to write it. But I see Jose on monday and i'm sure I'll hear sumthin fun to tell you! Or maybe even a poem. (lets hope not)

Haha.. A poem would NOT be a good thing. BUT I DO want to hear any stories :p. I'm too much of a dork to pick up the damn phone.

Oh well.

But yes, we definitely SHOULD hang out again. I'm glad we FINALLY did after years of saying we would!

being in a band is amazing. it gives you people to bitdch at. people to blame things on. drinking buddies. excuses to drink and go to shows (im makin contacts baby!) better reasons to spend all your money on guitar stuff. and reasons for members of the opposite sex to not understand you becase theyre not musicians. honestly, they usually dont. its like a job that costs you money and time, but is funner than most hobbies. like smoking crack. so ive heard.

That is all so very right. I could NEVER justitfy spending so much money on gear if I wasn't in a band.
