read all of fyp and you will know why there is no return to the greek culture, no matter how appealing it may seem. pay special attention to schiller, hegel and nietzche.
i must admit society is no golden age of the greeks, but i'd like to think in all our vice we still have progressed significantly in many ways which the greeks hadnt. the only thing appealing is the harmony of greek culture which combines both rational/intelligible and natural/physical, (Schiller, On the Aesthetic Education of Man).
