If you come home from a long day and are exhausted should you flop on the couch and announce to everyone that you are exhausted or pretend like you are fine?  The couch method seems to be self-serving, looking for sympathy, but the saintly way seems to be self-righteous and unnecessary.  Moral debacle.

I am currently trying the latter.

I think the best option would be to flop down on the couch, but not announce it to anyone. This way, if someone asks you how you are, you can tell them that you're tired from the day's toils and it will be convincing, as you seem to not have had the energy to announce it.

you know i like that way, yup, lay down but say nothing unless asked, then proceed to expound on your exhaustion.
