Thank you for allowing adatptions of your message. I wanted to write a complaint this morning but I couldn't come up with something that didn't sound incredibly pissed off.

Still have a language related question though, I'll be complaining in English and I'm not sure what would be more appropriate, calling myself a "gay boy", "gay male" or a "gay man"? I'm obviously male but not yet a man on the other hand "gay boy" has a negative ring to it in my ears (though it's technically correct). The correct English vocabulary eludes me when it comes to pc labling of different groups of people. Help?

"As a gay man" works really well. I've seen it used many times before. I'm glad this letter gave you some ideas! It's definitely hard to be nice, but it's probably more productive if you are.

And if you're uncertain about age (I don't think it matters) you could just say "as a young gay man".
