Help, please help!!!!!! (especially if your Jewish)

Can I schedule a meeting for 7:30pm on 10/5/05?  That is the last day of Rosh Hashanah, sundown is 6:46pm.  Would 7:30 be okay?   Does it just go by sundown? Or is there a specific time?

I need to get this done and I have no idea who to ask.

I did call a local synagogue, and got an answer of "I'm not sure" if you can believe it.

I think it ends at nightfall which seems vague.

If the meeting participants are Orthodox, then probably not. They'll take the whole day off. Conservative, could go either way. Reform or reconstructionist should be ok, but it also depends on which synagogue the meeting participants go to (if they do). Some of them might have late afternoon services that will still be going on.

IIRC, Rosh Hashanah services generally end earlier than Yom Kippur(which will usually have break fast dinner after the last service).

Okay, your answer was much more thorough. I was actually kind of curious myself.
