I spent my entire morning sleeping. I didn’t’ even get up until noon. Today must just be one of those unpredictable days. I was going to jump in the shower when my phone started ringing next to my bed. I didn’t’ bother looking at the caller I.D, and just pressed the phone to my ear.
“Hello?”
“Hey Tay, you will not believe what Demi told me today!” Came Selena’s extremely joyful voice.
“Oh yeah, what did she say?”
“She broke up with Joe.” I felt my heart clench up in anticipation.
“Did you tell her bout your feelings?”
“Not exactly.” I felt myself gulp as I sat down on my bed before I could fell over.
“What’s not exactly?”
“I kissed her and…and she kissed back.” I heard what she said but I couldn’t help but think we should be together.
“So you’re together?”
“I don’t know. I just wanted to call you and see if it was possible if I just came over tomorrow?”
“Yeah of course.”
“You sure?”
“Absolutely.”
“Thanks Taylor you’re the best. Oh I gotta go. I’ll see you tomorrow, bye, love you.”
“Love you too Selena.” After I hung up I didn’t’ feel like moving. I still can’t believe that this happened, but that’s life, it’s so…unpredictable.
I still got up and got in the shower, and it wasn’t until I looked at myself in the mirror, did I notice I was crying. I quickly wipe the tears away and turn on the warm water.
