ON THE LUSHNESS OF LIFE

They say that the lush things of life make you

fat.  And they are probably right.  But if you

constantly deny yourself the lush sensual

things of life, eventually your spirit gets too

thin.  It is better that you are a little over-

weight and that your heart is full and rich

with life's experiences, than you wind up

Hello Denim :)

I read your post on Thursday & not so speak out of turn but I got the impression that there's a particular era of your yesteryear you may need time to reflect upon.

I find myself in those moods, too, but have come to learn that with me it usually means I have been bottling up something, or burrying myself in the present and future ... not stopping to look back on the road I have been travelling or the experiences I've had along the way.

I usually feel better after making some time for myself and having a little think about an event in the past that deserves a little more of my attention; with each reflection I notice how far forward I come & this has helped me to learn that the way I feel about past situations changes with time & distance.

There is peace eventually - and I have found most people understand :)

Thank you Sonia for thinking of me:) Yes I guess what you have written is true to a degree, there are a few things I don't think I have properly dealt with that happened years ago, on the other hand I am mostly happy but you are so right in that a little introspection can be a good thing. I think now that I need to meditate and get myself in a better place so maybe I can express myself in writing just that little better, thanks again nice lady:) Den
