Welp, happy Friday to everyone! I should say that my day started out with that warm greeting coming from a BIG BOSS of mine from New York. I know I'm a little pee-on here at our HUGE Corporation, but it was a very nice gesture from a nice person to work for.
So here I am, two weeks since I've been married, one week since I was on honeymoon, and I'm really bored. I've realized that there was a lot going on in my life for the past 5 months, and as of this past Monday, there's nothing. I've got the wife and baby, and for them I am eternally grateful, but I'm nevertheless left with a feeling of emptiness now that we've had all the parties and gotten away for our mini-vacation. I need to find a new hobby or something. I placed a call to a friend that wants to hook up for some recreational music-making, which is probably exactly what I'm looking for, but the guy is a little bit slow on the initiative part of jamming. Soon fellows, soon, you will all be rocking to the sounds of Big Daddy D coming out your speakers!
~wishful thinking goes far in my imagination~
So, I was rather un-impressed by our future President Mr. Kerry. I did enjoy the speech of Edwards the other day. I found him to be charismatic and engulfing, similar to the charisma of John Kennedy (that I've only seen on TV or whatever...I heard he could control a room). Edwards did remind me a little of Dan Quayle (sp?), which was not to heart-warming, but I did atleast like the idea of a strong speaker in the White House. Bush can't hold a room like that, and his speeches are all generic and prepared for him anyway. Edwards prolly writes his own stuff, seeing as he was a trial lawyer, and those fools get lots of practice impressing jurors. Kerry was really boring, and I did not like watching him. Kasey thinks he will not be a good president, but welcomes the regime change. I think he will be decent, but I still fear whatever closed-door type deals that guy has done in the past; those things sure to be revealed in the coming months. I too, however, look forward to the change.
funny thing: If this whole thing turns out to screw our country up more than it was before, you can make fun of their campaign slogan "Hope is on the way," and revise it to say "HELL is on the way." Hope that never, ever comes about.
In the words of my boys in the band: Holla!
