Well, there's nothing like watching your country get demolished by superior opposition on the world's biggest stage. The US were sloppy, and the Czechs were sharp, and the result was a 3-0 whomping that puts us in last place, at least for the moment. It is a common mistake among those visiting London for the first time to conclude that it is a wonderful city. It is only once the blush of novelty has faded that one can see it for what it truly is- a dreadful city full of wonderful things.
