That's your problem right there - you give up before you even try. You joke about it and how you can't be bothered to do stuff, but until you change that attitude, everything will stay the same and you'll remain frustrated.

Lethargy can actually be caused by not doing enough, and carrying too much weight doesn't help. You have a very sedentary lifestyle, and exercising only once a week isn't enough to stay fit and healthy, let alone lose weight and get fit. Perhaps get checked out by your doctor in case you have an undiagnosed problem, but should you get the all-clear, I'm afraid it's down to you. We your friends can't do it for you, much as we might like to.

and i never realised that fat chance would turn out to be a pun...

there is stuff i am intending to do (just after new year). though to be honest, i don't think the current tiredness is due to the lack of current exercise, but more likely something dietary/psychosomatic because otherwise it would be commonplace and i wouldn't remark on it.

and this old me needs to change - hence this post. but its about getting people to do shit with so i don't feel depressed whilst trying to do them. that's kinda the nub innit? how to convince me that the people who might actually like me might actually like me. so i'm going to have to just pretend, and like them anyway...
