trying to find some now. i'm trying to volunteer in a school for a short while to see if i could hack it in a classroom, but getting the answers is harder than you may think...
Yup - I agree with Karl - if there's anything locally just-for-now, it might be worth a shot. I think it's easier to find work when you're in work. Or how about some volunteering? Volunteering might show you other types of idustries, give you a real sense of purpose and bring you into contact with interesting folks? I'm at an interview this week for a volunteering placement (alternate sat arvos) at a hospital near here. Just basically, walking visitors from the hospital entrance to their rele's beds. One it'll be good to give the NHS a little bit back, but it'll also encourage me to get out and experience a new working environment too. Good luck XXx
hello, ain't seen you in yonks - how's stuff going?
i'm trying to volunteer in a school if i can find one responsive enough to let me, but i do like your hospital suggestion. sounds good for the soul. thank you, that's a really cool thought...
yup - it sure has been a while. things are ok, had a very quiet christmas, which was kinda perfect as I had some time for reflection and to catch-up with those who were around and wanted to chillout with me too

Is there no casual work in walking distance to keep you occupied while you continue to search for something better?
