A few minutes can change everything. Before the crash Clark was just a 15-year-old farm boy and Lex a 21 year old self-involved rich kid. Then the crash happened and both were somehow still alive. Lex wondered how?

He woke to an angel and was sure he was dead, but no those green eyes were very much alive. Clark realized Lex was alive because of him, it was the first time he had used his powers to save someone, it made him feel fiercely protective of the stranger. Something passed between them, but it was cut short by an angry Jonathon who came to take his son home.

Over the following weeks Clark came to know more about himself than he ever dreamed and Lex found a puzzle like none he had ever encountered. They couldn’t deny their attraction to one another, but it had to remain hidden, from Clark’s parents and from Lionel. Both parties could destroy this new and precious thing.

Clark’s deliveries to the mansion became his cover to see Lex. Lex made him feel beautiful. The way he ran his hands over him, tasted him, and made love to him created a new Clark. Even Lex’s eyes following him thrilled him, because he realized he had power over the sophisticated older man. It was a relief for a boy that had to hide everything else from the world.

Lex couldn’t wait for Clark’s afternoon visits to come, part of him hated his loss of control. It was unacceptable in a Luthor, but he hid it well. His mind played over and over the images of his seduction of Clark. Such innocence Lex never would have believed existed. First talking and making him laugh, telling him how beautiful and special he was, and then moving in close and kissing him. The thought still made him hard even though it had been months.

The night Lex kissed Clark, he did so, so casually like it was nothing. In reality, Lex had half a bottle of scotch in him before Clark ever arrived at the mansion. He couldn’t take it anymore, 15 or not, those lips were pornographic; they taunted him and he was going mad. He whispered that the two of them had a great destiny together and Clark realizing the moment for what it was froze unable to move or think as Lex reached up and pulled Clark in close and kissed him. At first Clark didn’t even part his lips, but Lex persisted until something in Clark gave way and he opened up to let Lex’s tongue in. Soon he was stroking Lex’s face and deepening their kiss; suprising and thrilling Lex at his power and hunger.

Lex was the one to break the kiss and send Clark home. Later he sat stunned at how helpless he felt in Clark’s hands. It was ridiculous; he controlled every situation every encounter he had ever been in. Well it wasn’t going to change; he would give nothing away. Also he knew that Clark was more than he admitted to and was determined to get the young man in his power; to have Clark tell him his secrets. Lex’s secret he wouldn’t even admit to himself. That he loved Clark; the thought of love was just too terrifying.

So began an affair that wouldn’t acknowledge love on one side and unhappy deception on the other. It was still sweet, but it gave birth to a twisted relationship. One that’s consequences took on a life of their own. To start a thing always carries danger, only time would tell how much.
