No wink necessary!dennis_obellMay 2 2007, 04:17:40 UTC
(Sorry, I'm just now catching up on a day's worth of e-mail and LJ.)
That's really basically it. The Idolator editors have been really kind and admiring of my...er, exuberant input at the site, and they basically just up and asked me. We did meet IRL a couple of months ago, when they held a cocktail party in Brooklyn and we all discovered that none of us has three heads, etc. But I really think it was just my unbridled enthusiasm and willingness to comment on virtually anything that made them favorably disposed to me.
WOW! (Small world.)dennis_obellMay 2 2007, 04:28:06 UTC

No embarrassment necessary - I mean, it's good that you're not keeping such close tabs on an ex's activities - especially an ex's fiancée's activities, right?
I met her fiancée at a happy hour Idolator threw a couple of months ago. Seemed nice enough. How long ago were you guys friends/dating?
Thanks, and we'll shill later.dennis_obellMay 2 2007, 04:27:01 UTC
Much obliged; it was exhilirating/exhausting, but I enjoyed it. I'd do it again if they asked. Which means maybe I'll be better able to throw some shameless plugs your way some other time, when I'm not figuring out how their Moveable Type system works.
Yup, that was medennis_obellMay 1 2007, 20:06:03 UTC
And I'm gonna guess you guys saw Feist?
But I'll bet if I asked you to sing a song by one of them right now, you'd sing something by Ne-Yo. (I probably would too. He wrote "Irreplaceable" for Beyonce!)
you must not know bout meprettykateMay 1 2007, 20:30:55 UTC
WE SAW NEEEE-YO! He opened up for LL Cool J's Custom Concert on Oxygen, which Matt and I went to see!
I actually like Feist. I have a CD of people mixing her stuff and it's cool. I don't know if I'd like the originals, but they are good wiht a beat behind them!
I had no idea he wrote that song! I LOVE THAT SONG!
