A regular, $250ish Canon pocket-size with the flash turned off. That's it.

See below, comment from JE. Though we were in the greater Lake Wally area, it's actually Lake Fairview. Sorry for the confusion.

Great shot, but unless I'm greatly mistaken, that's Lake Fairview, in scenic Hawley, PA.

Yup - Fairview Lake between Tafton and Paupack PA. Interestingly, I once saw an older map of the area, and its name prior to 20th century development was Lake Jones, which corresponds with Lake Giles nearby.

Are you going to put those waterskiing wipeout videos on flickr? I'd love to get another chance to watch them!

I'll try dennis_obell July 9 2009, 14:06:11 UTC
I'll have to do a bit of experimenting, because I've never uploaded a movie before, and iPhoto doesn't seem to do that automatically when you add movies to its Flickr groups. If I fail I'll just e-mail you a couple of the movies.

No worries. I just thought it would be cool to take a second look! Kind of like when I went to tennis camp and they made videos of us serving to help us improve our technique.
