I'm going to have to go back and look at those pictures of Ben at your wedding.

I strongly suspect that Emily would conquer nearly any graduate program.

Wow... VERY cool. I'm totally impressed. As a geek with a BS in CS, I can imagine she gives a very different and refreshing view in those classes. Way to go Emily!

I wandered over here after feeling distraught over you leaving Idolator. I also found your website, where it seems you are moving your charts column. I'm sorry to post a comment here, but the comments on your website don't seem to work. I just wanted to say that I am SO excited that the column is continuing. I've been a faithful (but silent, comments-wise) Idolator reader for a year and a half now and your charts column was my favorite read. I hope you'll continue writing regularly 'cause I'm bookmarking the site now.

I understand why you sought me out here - several folks have informed me today that the Wordpress blog's not accepting comments. Sorry about that. I'll have to try and fix it before my next column.

More important, I very much appreciate your kind words and enjoyment of the column. Oddly, this lousy week of bad Idolator news has had the silver lining of making me realize just how many people enjoyed what we (and I) were doing there all that time.
