I have to disagree regarding the fit of the headphones. I recently completed a 10k race with a pair of these headphones (and all of the training required to run the 10k) and they haven't budged once during running. Not on treadmills, not on the streets, not in the wet, not in the dry. I wear them over the ear and they have NEVER come out.
Fit experience varies based on individual and the type of activity he/she is performing. I use large size ear tips, and medium flanges and these constantly top out, resulting in imperfect seal.
The construction of these earbuds is not suited for runners who run fast and sweat. Over the ear positioning is not secured and based on my racing experience I see JayBirds only once in a while outdoors and almost never in gyms.
They are great sounding earbuds - don't get me wrong. Unfortunately, the company went sideways, and killed all other designs of their products in favor of flopped Reign. I really hope that they will come around and return to what they do best - sport earbuds in various designs. And fix the sweat protection coating.
