okay... so i've barely watched grey's since season 3 because thought the show went kind of downhill, not to mention i seriously missed denny. i also wasn't able to get back into it this season even though i knew denny was gonna be on it so i've been catching their scenes sporadically and i just watched tonight and it seems like he's gone for good.

As much as I loved having new scenes, and just them being together. I do think it changed how a lot of people see the pairing. I mean, technically it's not Denny and Izzie, it's Izzie and her subconscious that created Denny.
But still, for me the last we saw of Denny was the ending of the premiere. One of my favorite scenes.

i loved that scene too. and that at least was a mental fantasy of izzie's, not some phantom corporeal denny that makes everyone go WTF?

I could not agree with you more. Now that it's all said and done, I wish they'd never done this storyline at all.

I came on this community today because I was having these exact same thoughts and wondered if anyone else posted about having them, too. You echoed my feelings completely.
