Ouray was amazing. One day of skiing at Telluride, and 3 days of ice climbing. I got up a beat-out WI5 on toprope, and led my first route on ice - a short WI3. There was a very tense moment placing the 4th screw at a vertical section with a strenuous stance, my feet 5 feet above my last screw :)

I'm heading into the winter wonderland this weekend - a ski tour around Chair Peak with WAC folks on Saturday, an evening at the cabin, then off to find something WI3-ish to lead on Saturday. Perhaps further up the valley, with a ski approach? I'm very excited.
