without wires

A new wireless network appeared in my airport menu today, named "interweb".

That makes 5 wireless networks I can access from my lounge room. 3 of them are completely open, including this new one.

The only wireless connection I've found in Goolwa is at Billy Baxter's, and they charge $7/30 mins!

I wonder how many people set up a wireless network with no security and are then all like: 'Dang, the internet is real slow now, this router sucks' whilst half the neighbourhood is downloading pr0n and juarez on their link.

I don't think it's many, because I suspect the number of open networks swamps the number of people able and willing to download lots from them.
