There's some awesome music from FF. But I think you have to be emotionally attached to the game to appreciate it (which is why I love most of the FFIX OST, but almost none of the FFVIII OST).
I LOVE this list. I always see lists like this and think maybe I should post mine, but mine is horribly horribly weird because I hardly use itunes and my brother listens to more stuff on my computer than anyone else. It'd be a very... eclectic mix to say the least! XD
This list is the result of actually rating most of my library, then using the "party shuffle" with playlists like "at least 4 stars". Of course, most of the list are things I've had for ages, newer stuff I like is under-represented.
Bumble Bee is up there because at one point I went crazy and just listened to it over and over on repeat ^_^
I do love software that keeps statistics, and these days whenever I play a real CD, or play mp3s on my PC, it irritates me that the counters aren't being increased :-)
The thought of rating my entire library still terrifies me. 14+ gigs of music, a lot of which is not mine and a lot of which have no titles is a scary proposition.
I do wish that I'd started doing it from the beginning though. I envy you and your organised music collection. I think if I had a pair of decent headphones so I could listen to music at the new office things would definitely change. Guess I should hunt out what ones I'd really like and save for them...
GO GO BUMBLEBEE! I assume thats why meat in a pot is there too? ;)
Anything from from these folk is bound to be good. I have the 497 HD which as you would know are quite smexy. The benefits to look for in a good pair of headphones:
1. External noise canceling, meaning that you don't have to cause yourself permanent ear damage to hear music on buses etc. 2. Replaceable leads. Normally your leads die before the headset so the ability to replace just that bit is..well obvious.
You should be able to pick a nice pair around $100
