Sometimes I get really stupid and tongue-tied around certain people and it's like bursting into a room with excitement and anticipation of seeing that person and realizing s/he's in the middle of something much more worthwhile.

I never seem to back out the door gracefully.

Can't you just say that it's really just that you're afraid that what you have to say isn't worthwhile?

I mean, from my perspective, nothing's really worthwhile if the things you perceive and think aren't worthwhile.

Like our intro/extrovert discussion... I think you can be a little of both just not at the same time. Sometimes when someone else's approval is really important, you're looking for their approval, expecting a certain response, and that's the introvert path. The extrovert path places what you have to say OVER the response, and so what you have to say is said regardless of what level of understanding or interest the recipient has.

*shrug* Have you taken a look at Sukhavati yet?
