I've got another friend who tried it, and left it, and had crazy effects.
I find this very interesting, because I took Effexor on and off for YEARS. It was prescribed when I was in 6th grade, and I was supposed to be taking it all through high school, and even into college.
I, of course, took it on and off like crazy, because I would forget, or I just wouldn't want to.
I never really experienced the extreme side-effects that I've heard of. So I find it interesting.
Then again, the reason I was prescribed the Effexor is so that I would "handle stress" better, not because I was diagnosed with depression or anything like that. It was a sort of replacement Ritalin for me.
Which I also find rather fishy. It makes me want to kick my parents and my doctor of the time.
