Desinex: *down in the kitchen, is busy mixing a cube of sweet energon and calcien for Hound, as well as a sippy cup of a similar mix for Sekani... Until a sudden, intense pain from her spark blindsides her*
Sunstreaker: *pauses what he's doing and looks up to rummage a cupboard* Desi, do you know where the gummi things are? I need them for this... *looks over his shoulder and meeps, then turns and comes close* Desi?
Desinex: *huddled in on herself and gritting her dentae* *tensely* Medic.... NOW.
Sunstreaker: Okay. Just circulate. //SHOWTIME, Desi's in labour!//
Showtime: *'eeps' over comms* //I'll go get Hormah!// *GONE*
Desinex: *circulating and trying so hard to keep calm, low curse as another wave of pain hits. Is unintentionally digging her claws into the floor*
Sunstreaker: *hurries out of the room, and then shortly returns* Desi, can you hear me?
Desinex: *manages to lift her head enough to give Sunstreaker a slightly aggravated Look, is barely keeping her 'Con programming in check*
Sunstreaker: *shows her the sedation/painkiller gun* What level do you want?
Desinex: *tense* *quiet* Knock me out.... Safer.....
Sunstreaker: *nods and adjusts the settings, and then steps forward quickly and applies the gun to his sister at arms' neck*
Desinex: *slumps as the sedation takes effect. Good luck getting her claws out of the floor, Sunstreaker*
Sunstreaker: *catches her, and then hunkers and carefully and skillfully takes those claws out one at a time. This done, he PINpoints up to the bedroom that Desinex shares with Hound, gives a quick check to the peacefully sedated mech and the curious sparklet on the bed, and then gently lays Desinex on the empty side of the bed. This done, he hurries to get the little sparklet protoform, and then hesitates, his expression thoughtful as he looks from Desinex to that little shell* -Swiper, quit watching cartoons and get your aft up here.-
Sideswipe: -Bhuh? What's going on, Streaker?-
Sunstreaker: -Just get up here. I need an extra pair of hands. And when we're done I'll finish making that quick cake.-
Sideswipe: -Gotcha...- *is soon heard hurrying up the stairs*
Sunstreaker: *has already got the little sparklet protoform online and running by the time his brother arrives* Okay. You stay here by this and make sure the sparklet's not scared when she comes online. *turns his attention to Desinex and sees if he can't find the right place to poke her to get her chest open. He's done field repair on her before, but that was... millions of years and another lifetime ago*
Sideswipe: *blink blink blink* *moves to sit next to the sparklet protoform* When'd Desi start going into labor?
Desinex: *thankfully, her new body's pretty similar to her old one, which means that the right place to poke is in nearly the exact same spot*
Sunstreaker: *as Desinex's chest opens* Just a few clicks ago. *looks carefully at sister's spark to see how the baby spark is situated in relation to it*
Sideswipe: ...Slag....
Stunner: *kind of hiding behind Mamaspark now, could get entirely behind the older femme's spark very easily at this point*
Sunstreaker: *pulls out a bit of glowing, sweet energon crystal candy and holds it near Desinex's spark* Hey... are you still attached? Don't you want to come out and get stuff like this? ...Can you even scan that flavour yet?
Stunner: *still mostly attached, pulses a bit and seems to be considering the offer*
Sunstreaker: *pokes around in his pocket and finds an even more energy rich bit of candy. Holds that over by the first* If you come out this' aaaaalll yours. *waves them gently*
Stunner: *stronger pulse as she senses the energy, will scooot to 'peek' at the goodies* *just a bit less firmly attached now*
Sideswipe: *checking to see if the sparklet shell's tank is filled* *rickrolls Sunstreaker*
Sunstreaker: -Knock it off dipstick. I'm busy here.- *another gentle wave of the candy*
Sekani: *excitement suddenly bursts out in a rapid series of chirps as he watches what Unca Streaker's doing*
Stunner: *trying to follow the energy, is still attached enough to make the effort fruitless.... And likely painful if Desinex were awake*
Sunstreaker: Yipe, that doesn't look good. *holds the candy where the little spark can contact it*
Sideswipe: Is she stuck? *moving to get up*
Stunner: *oooooh, this is good stuff! Happy little pulse*
Sunstreaker: No. She just hasn't let go yet. *is grinning at the little spark*
Sekani: *quiet croon as he watches, is laying over a pillow with his little chin on his arm*
Stunner: *quietly content as she tastes the energy from the candy and slowly separates from Mamaspark. No sign of Desinex temper in this babby!*
Sideswipe: ... *snerk* She's like a femme Ridgeback....
Sunstreaker: ...Knowing that none of Desi's kids have her temper kinda makes me uneasy. *looks down and sees that bitty spark is separate* Oh wow. Okay... follow the goodie... *moves candy very slowly toward the sparklet protoform*
Sekani: *crooon*
Stunner: *come back, energy! Will follow the candy*
Sideswipe: No kidding....
Sunstreaker: *carefully, so carefully leads the little spark over to the spark compartment* Okay, go in there. Um... *wonders how to convey that to his niece*
Stunner: *okay, now what? Is kind of hovering above the compartment*
Sideswipe: Where'd Showtime go, anyway?
Sunstreaker: *tries blowing the little spark into the spark compartment. Fans on high!*
Stunner: *bhuhwhut? Confused pulsing*
Sunstreaker: *blows another puff!*
Stunner: *ooooh, is she supposed to go into the funny-feeling thing behind her then? Will give that a try*
Sunstreaker: *perks as the little spark settles into its place* Good girl! *puts one of the candy pieces into the protoform's mouth*
Stunner: *as her features settle, she's blinking and trying to figure out what to do with the good-tasting stuff in her mouth*
Sunstreaker: *happy grin as the sparklet's chest closes. Offers to pick her up, clicking softly*
Stunner: *oooh? What's this now? Curious, muffled clicks. Will try moving her arms*
Sunstreaker: *lifts her gently and cuddles her close* Yeah. That's it. Whoops. *hands her to Sideswipe so that he can check and make sure Desinex is alright*
Sekani: Sissy! Sissy! Sissy!
Showtime: *back! Has the orange and black guy that helped when Sekani arrived!*
Sideswipe: *moves to grab Sekani as well*
Stunner: *oooh, someone different?* *clicks curiously*
Sekani: *gentle kissy for Sissy, and then clicks the clicks he used to talk to her with before she was born*
Stunner: *happy sounds as she snuggles the other little*
Sunstreaker: *looks around from Desinex and blinks* ...That's not Hormah.
Showtime: Hormah couldn't come, so she called this guy....
svWakeJumper: *moves to scan Desinex*
Sunstreaker: ...Well, maybe that's a good thing. This way only Desi will cuss me out. *looks at svWakeJumper, and then offers him the stungun*
svWakeJumper: *snerks and reaches for the stungun after closing Desinex's chest up* Better put her kids with her.... That way, she won't get up to chase you.
Sunstreaker: *grins. And bolts. Yup, leaving his brother with the armload of sparklets*
Sekani: Buh?
Stunner: Bhuh?
Sideswipe: *'urk', moves to gently tuck Sekani and Stunner in with Desinex and Hound before he bolts as well*
Showtime: .... *facepalm*
svWakeJumper: *snickerfit as he reverses the sedation on Desinex*
Hound: *soft groan as part of him senses his mate returning to awareness*
Desinex: *soft sound, unshutters her optics. Bleary blinking, and then she's smiling as Stunner tries clicking at her through a mouthful of nom*
Sekani: *happy clicks* Sissy!
svWakeJumper: *moves to scan Hound, will reverse the sedation on him as well*
Hound: *hand slowly up to rub his optics, and then quizzically turns his head* Streaker, what... *blinks* Who're you?
svWakeJumper: I'm a WakeJumper. *yes, he knows how absurd that sounds, but he's quite aware that there's at least one other version of him running around the multiverse*
Stunner: *attention going to Hound, muffled click!*
Hound: ...0_0 *turns head toward mate* Ohhhh. So that's why Streaker tagged me. *looks at the little newcomer, his optics shining*
Stunner: *wiggle wiggle, attempts to scoot over, wants to see this other big up close!*
Desinex: *careful repositioning so she's closer to Hound, will softly click and snuggle against her mate*
Hound: *softly* She's beautiful, Sky. She looks like you.
Sekani: *pokes finger in Sissy's mouth, laughing softly*
Stunner: *heywhut? Blinkblinks at the other little*
Desinex: *quietly* Let's hope she's got a better temperament than I do... *soft chuckle*
Hound: *slight smile, but then blinks as his tank grumbles* Oh.
Showtime: *soft snerk, will head down to get fuel for the family*
Desinex: *asks Showtime to bring her some fuel too, no, not the sweet stuff. Don't even think about it*
svWakeJumper: *to Desinex and Hound* The delivery was a low-stress one, so there's really nothing you need aside from rest. *yes, he's been studying* *will PINpoint home*
Hound: *blinks as the medic vanishes, then turns back to his mate. Gives her a sympathetic touch to her cheek as he feels her reaction to the thought of sweet fuel* *quietly* He left before I could thank him.
Desinex: *soft snerk, will rest her head on his shoulder* *contented sigh*
Showtime: *back with fuel for the family! Will get everyone situated with fuel and leave to let them have a peaceful meal*
Stunner: :o *click*
Hound: Show, wait. Why'd the medic leave before we could say thanks?
Sekani: *finger tap on sippy cup, and then pokes the spout into Sissy's mouth*
Showtime: *pauses to give Hound a puzzled look* .... I have no idea.... *will pester the young medic over comms* ... *SNERK*
Hound: I mean, he delivered our little one...
Sekani: Nup. Unca do. *feed sister*
Stunner: *happy sounds as she noms*
Showtime: He left 'cause he didn't wanna tick Desi off by staying too long....
Desinex: *sleepy razz*
Hound: *looking at Sekani* What did Uncle do?
Sekani: *looks up* *grins* Helped Sissy out! Wiffa candy!
Hound: *blink. ...Blink*
Showtime: *blink blink, asks Sunstreaker what Sekani means*
Sunstreaker: *slightly guilty* //Well the medic wasn't even here when the sparklet was born, so of course he didn't do it.//
Showtime: //... But what did you do?//
Sunstreaker: //Delivered our sparklet, duh.//
Showtime: //...You know Desi'll kick your aft if she hears you refer to the sparklet that way....// *so amused, and proud of her mate* *out loud, to Hound* Sunny was the one who delivered Stunner.... I'm guessing he used candy to get her to her shell...
Desinex: *low growl at the idea, is too tired to go wring Sunstreaker's neck at the moment*
Sunstreaker: *over the common channel* //You think I wanted some stranger messing with my sister? Desi, cinna or strawbaby?//
Desinex: *fond frustration* //Glitchhead... Cinna.//
Sunstreaker: *quietly* //We take care of each other. Always have. Ginger for the gummies?//
Desinex: //Sounds good... Now lemme sleep.// *finished refueling*
Sunstreaker: //You got it.// *will focus his whole attention on making one hasty cake for each adult member of the household, carefully layering the filling, cookies and candy before he puts all the pans into the chiller. There is going to be a celebration in the house later on*
Hound: *chuckling softly as he drinks his energy*
Desinex: *snuggles close and shutters her optics*
Stunner: *click click click, snuggabubby*
Hound: *makes sure that Sekani fuels himself too, and not just his new sister, then sighs and leans his forehead against Desinex's as his own optic shutters droop wearily*
Sekani: *not sure he wants to drink yet. Makes another offer of cup to Sissy*
Stunner: *gonna try and feedabubby*
Sekani: *eats and feeds... and dozes off full of warmth and nom*
Stunner: *snuggles happily and conks out*
Showtime: *gently covers the family with a blanket and goes to see if she can help Sunstreaker get things ready for the celebration*
