Jamie: *waiting on the doorstep when Alicia gets home. Drops to one knee in his utilikilt and offers her a ring*
Alicia: *Startled into silence for a few seconds*
Jamie: *doesn't care that Alicia's dad was right behind her. Quietly asks her to be his wife*
Alicia: *Sputters and stammers for a few seconds*
Patrick: *is SO running a background check on Jamie*
Jamie: *hopeful, his forehead furrowed as he bites his lip*
Alicia: *Squeal! Glomp!*
Patrick: *forwarding a message about this to Col. Franklin, is also sending a similar message to Rachel*
Rachel: *asleep, brb*

Patrick: *Trying to be subtle as he scans Jamie. Isn't sure whether to be relieved or concerned by the fact that Jamie is a normal human*
Jamie: That... doesn't feel like wind. *looks around with a frown, murmuring a prayer*

Alicia: *looking around worriedly* -Justice, back off...-

Justice: *goes from anger to distress, but backs off*
Jamie: *still holding Alicia protectively and praying as he frowns and tries to pinpoint the source of the discomfort*
Alicia: *looking around and pretending not to know what's going on*
Patrick: *moves to approach*
Justice: -Dad....- *unhappy*
Patrick: *soothingly* -I know... But Alicia's an adult... She has the right to love whomever she chooses...-
Justice: *thinks of his first mother, now battling the bot that her mate was mutated into even from beyond the veil* *sad static as he fades away*
Jamie: ...I think it's gone.
Alicia: Yeah... :/
Jamie: *rubs his arm without letting go of her* That was so weird. If felt like something was here, but it didn't seem to feel evil. Just... crackly.
Alicia: *To Patrick* I thought you said this place wasn't haunted....
Patrick: I'm not sure if it is or not, Alicia.
Jamie: Haunted? *wrinkles his forehead in that funny way he has*
Susana: *As she moves to gently usher Felicity and Scott inside* Alicia's watched one too many episodes of "Ghost Hunters". *Rolls her eyes a bit*
Jamie: Yeah, but your dad's saying it too. *quizzical look for Patrick* Dead people don't float around and cause trouble, Mr. Oberson.
Patrick: Then perhaps this was something else.... Not all paranormal activity is caused by ghosts.... I'll have to check for wires in the morning....
Justice: *comes back and goes over to where Soli is, still feeling blue*
Emilia: *Small, almost unnoticable shiver as she carefully rocks Soli*
Justice: *forces himself to calm, and then snuggles against the femme. She'll still pick up his worry and protective sadness*
Soli: *sleeping, thrrpt*
Emilia: -I'm not happy about it either, Justice.... But all we can do for her is be there when the inevitable happens....-
Justice: -I can't even talk to him.-
Emilia: -You had him pretty spooked though....- *is amused and trying to keep that amusement off of her face*
Justice: *considering* -He was uneasy, but not afraid.- *sudden dismay* -Will she go away? He doesn't know about us.-
Emilia: -I don't think she will go away. If he tries to make her leave her sisters... He'll learn the hard way just how stubborn she is.-
Jamie: *looking at Alicia again, a smile twitching the corners of his mouth* We're going to need a lot of guest space, huh?
Alicia: *small smile* Yeah....
Jamie: *happy grin as he rocks a little more* I guess I should head for home. Ton of homework....
Alicia: *small nod* yeah.... And that report that Professor Ruteger's wanting.... *sigh*
Jamie: That's gonna be fun. *grin*
Alicia: *Soft chuckle, moves to muss up Jamie's hair a bit*
Jamie: *laughs and play growls at her hand. Then kisses her on the hair again and lets her go* See you in the morning, babe. *shy, tongue tied attempt at saying he loves her, and then bolts for his car*
Emilia: -...It's like Optimus when he was first courting me...- *highly amused by this*
Justice: -...Really?-
Emilia: -Yeah... Only we had to be locked in a closet before he even tried to ask me out...-
Soli: *grumpy little sound and frowns. Why not in bed yet, Mama?*
Scarlett: *Going to try and drag Alicia inside now!*
Alicia: *Acks as Scarlett drags her inside the house*
Patrick: *Facepalming and moving to bring Emilia, Justice, and Soli inside as well*
Sabrina: *nose in a book, missed the entire thing*
Soli: *squawks, but soon settles down as she finds herself tucked between her parents in their bed*
Patrick: *protective of his family, just hopes Alicia will be happy*
Justice: *sits and protects the house all night, his unseen expression pensive and uneasy*
