Susana: *accepts the offer, is already a few chapters ahead of the human students anyways*
ap: *is a game named 'Girl Stuff'*
Susana: *Raised brow*
Sean: //Will you beta that for me?// *glances over with that guileless grin that he doesn't realize he has*
Susana: *very soft chuckle* //Sure.// *is good at not getting caught with her phone on in class*
Sean: *grin widens a bit* //Thanks!//
Susana: //No problem.//
Sean: *resumes using his phone to read next year's text book*
Susana: *stealing a glance at her phone as she boots up the app*
game: *shows a nicely decorated title page and a little thing that will let her choose which colour theme she'd like to download and use for the game*
Susana: *checking out the color options*
game: *offers her everything from girliest pinks, to 'wicked' purples, and a mild blue and silver theme*
Susana: *picks the blue and silver theme*
game: *then goes to character creation! Shows her a little tiny bald chibi eight bit style sprite standing there in her bra and panties. Available classes: student, blue collar, office worker, entertainment, nature*
Susana: *checks out the stats for each class*
stats: *take the form of a list of possible jobs. At the bottom of each list is a little thing mentioning that hobbies are separately picked after character creation*
Susana: *considering look, before she chooses office worker, making a note to suggest more classes and what classes to suggest*
game: *offers twelve jobs for office workers. Secretary is last on the list, which also includes CEO, Filing Clerk, Travel Agent, and Accountant*
Susana: *chooses Travel Agent*
game: *happily arranges all her skills (some not fully trained yet) around the little sprite, then asks her for a name and invites her to go through the lost and found box to find a first outfit*
Susana: *names her sprite after her true name, and proceeds to the lost and found box*
game: *lost and found box has cute and practical clothes in it. She'll be shown a picture of each piece as she triggers the 'sort box' icon*
Susana: *Triggers the 'sort box' icon, eventually picks a pretty top, knee-length skirt, and pretty shoes*
game: *asks her if she'd like to go to the hair dresser now*
Susana: *selects "yes"*
game: *changes screens to a hairdressing scene, and now there are different hair styles arranged around the little sprite, with an arrow to show that you can scroll for more*
Susana: *going through the different hairstyles*
game: *single and double ponytails, short dos, long dos, high fashion dos, classic chibi hair to the floor dos. All of them have a note saying how often you need to return to the hair dresser to keep them neat*
Susana: *chooses a short 'do. It's an asymetrical bob in a pretty chestnut brown color*
game: *asks if she'd like streaks or highlights*
Susana: *picks highlights*
game: *offers blonde, burgundy, ginger, and dark coffee*
Susana: *picks blonde*
game: *puts hair on the sprite and announces that Susana may now pick her first home*
Susana: *goes to that menu*
game: *shows her an older cottage with one of the two small bed rooms turned into an office. Also shows her a pretty little loft with a nice view of city, and an old farmhouse a short drive outside the city that needs work but is homey*
Susana: *chooses the loft*
game: *tells her she gets a chair and a bed for free, then shows her chairs and beds. One of the beds is a bean filled hammock. Game also tells her she has a bank account and gives her the option of buying furniture*
chairs: *recliner, funky looking, girly looking, claw footed, bean bag*
Susana: *picks a funky looking chair*
game: *then shows her several activities she can choose from: bar, ball game, car race, pet park, shopping*
Susana: *chooses the ball game*
game: *runs footage of the latest free baseball game!*
Susana: *raised eyebrow, attention on the game*
game: *at edge of ball game are several people, including a couple men with little bubbles over their heads that say they're smiling at her*
Susana: ... *raised brow climbs higher*
game: *ball game plays, and men smile, but don't do anything else unless she should click them*
Susana: *not sure she wants to click on the men yet*
game: *baseball game is a good game! The right team wins. And here is a hot dog seller appearing in a corner of the tiny screen*
Susana: *Clicks on the hot dog seller*
hot dog seller: *has dogs, veggie dogs, boiled peanuts, and edamame*
Susana: *buys edamame*
game: *shows text at bottom of screen. "Thanks, lady! Enjoy!" ^_^ Also shows edamame sitting there waiting to be clicked*
Susana: *clicks on the edamame*
game: *tells her that four stress points were relieved, and that she's now totally relaxed! Also tells her that her health is optimal*
Susana: *Amused, but has to put her phone away quickly when the instructor turns to address the class*
Sean: *peeks at her with a quizzical look* //How is it so far?//
Susana: //You might want to add a few more classes... like City Worker or whatever it is Petra's job is classified as...//
Sean: //I chose the the most popular ones for the human group I'm aiming at.// *thoughtful expression* //But I think I'd like to add cop.//
Susana: //That'd be a popular job, I bet...//
Sean: //Well, you know that game that Uncle Swiper plays? I'm aiming at the girl version of the guys that love that game.// *not admitting he knows who makes that game*
Susana: *slight nod* //Other than the classes thing, it's good so far.//
Sean: //Guess I should explain the grinning guys? Have you seen any?//
Susana: //Saw 'em at the ball game...//
Sean: //Boyfriends are the strongest stress relievers. They give hugs and flowers and stuff.// *busily taking notes with his cellphone*
Susana: //Huh...// *hadn't thought of that*
Sean: //...How do you feel about game spoilers?// *frowns at what the teacher just wrote on the board*
Susana: //I'm not as into gaming as Scarlett and Alice are. Spoil away.// *Slight frown as she reads what was written on the board*
Sean: //Well, it's not really a gamer's game. Just a girly one. Anyway. The boyfriends are the best stress relievers, but they're not always there, because they don't live with you. So you can buy pets, but you can only have three of those, or three fish tanks, and the really good ones are sold for real money.// *reads the stuff on the board again and then raises his hand* //That's not right.//
Susana: //I'll keep that in mind... And yeah, that's way off...// *writing down the correct information*
Sean: *talks to the professor about the error, his small face set in a serious frown*
Will: *speaking up and offering a correction*
some guy in the back: *makes a rude comment about the little geniuses*
kilt guy: *shows rude guy his fist*
Alicia: *Informs the rude guy that there's no way she'll ever go out with a jerk like him, moves seats*
rude guy: 0.o
kilt guy: *snickerfit*
Alicia: *Sitting next to kilt guy, will ask him if he'd like to be study partners for the test*
Sean: *nods as the professor fixes his notes, then glances back at Alicia and grins*
Alicia: *small wink for Sean, back to flirting with kilt guy!*
Susana: *facepalming*
Sean: *as he returns to his notes, to Susana* //I'll pay you back for anything you want to buy in the game.//
Susana: //I'll get back to you on that...// *finishing her notes, waiting till the professor's attention is elsewhere before she resumes playing. Will probably spend every moment of free time for the rest of the day playing.*
