This roller coaster of a semester is ALMOST over. What was the last thing I updated about on here? The strike at school ended after 7 weeks. The profs got a 10% increase in salary and a few hundred or whatever are being hired so they at least got what they mostly wanted. HOPEFULLY this means that no more strikes in the future while I'm still at ( Read more... )

I think it has to do with us not being angsty teenagers anymore. hahaha :P
It sucks that your teachers were all on strike! It makes me wonder if it really is the best way to get what you want (in their case it worked I guess hah)

But it penalizes a lot of students. A lot of sectors need specialized employees, and strike just creates delays!

Also, where/when are you going to Japan? I'm thrilled for you, it's so awesome hah :P If I don't get accepted in the program to study abroad, I'll be going for fun next summer for sure. But if I get accepted in the program it'll be insaaane. I mean, they even give you like 2500$ for it hah :p And it's in Osaka which isn't too far from Tokyo (and is awesome by itself anyways)
