I know people tend to do big flist clean-ups and cuts and things but I'm not... really like that, not so far, anyway. However, I do defriend people on occasion, not very often, and it's usually for very specific and/or individual reasons. I'm not the kind of person who believes we can only be friends just because we're in the same fandom, as if Merlin or whatever is the only thing we can and should be talking about. I truly believe friendships, whether internet or other, are based on more than that.

I'm with you here! I don't believe that everything is about fandom. We both like Gwaine/Merlin and stuff, but it really doesn't mean anything more than that we like a series and ship a couple. We could be completely different as individuals! I hope to get to know you better, though (and I'll be forever thankful for your support after my breakup).

On a completely different note: what do you study?

Haha! Tho Merlin/Gwaine is still great *sigh* but unfortunately I lack inspiration for my reel_merlin fic =| Still got a month.

I'm studying cyber forensics, information security and management. But aw man, I took a computer science major and did pretty badly in the comp sci unit this semester. I've since switched my major to information systems, but I still feel shit over it. I did really well in my other two units though, so at least that's 2/3, but blegh.

I haven't been very active lately at merlingwainebar :( Bad bad me! I do read some fics, though. I would also love to be able to write some myself, but there are basically no shippers in Finland, and I don't think I could write in English.

Sounds interesting! And totally different from what I'm going to study if I get into uni :P I applied for English Philology, so that would be my major. Minors... I'd love to have Pedagogy and Spanish. There's also this subject called elämänkatsomustieto I'd like to be able to teach. I don't know if you have something similar where you live, it's a school subject for those who are not members of the church and don't want to study Religion. It's like ethics, Citizenship Education, and history of religions mixed.

Wow what's Pedagogy? I've never heard of it. And Spanish - good choice, I reckon.

I'm not sure but that sounds similar to Philosophy. It sounds really, really interesting, though, especially as I didn't take the subject (it wasn't compulsory for my college majors).
