A.'s wonderful and lovely grandfather died this week, and so I am learning all about Jewish bereavement customs. I somehow (luckily and happily) had made it this far in life without really knowing anything about them. I am so sorry! Please convey that to A as well. I know I've only met him twice, but please know that you both are in my prayers. I love your description of A's grandfather and can tell that he meant a lot to you.
