I am sick of hearing people on NPR and TV talking about politicians (Sarah Palin right now) being better for our country because they're "outside the Beltway" or "just like us."  I don't want a politician just like me!  I want a politician who has experience getting things done, politically

Agreed in every sense of the word. While I would rather be voting Clinton in this election, Obama is a much better choice than the McCain/Paulin alternative.
