Pita's little friend. He wasn't afraid of her at all; he fought back. And it just creeps me out 1000 times more knowing how easily he was climbing up the bush in Debbie's yard. I hate snakes. I hate to think I have to worry about them being above me as well as below me.

yeah, black racers are pretty fiesty. they're the best snakes to train how to catch snakes with b/c they're harmless. but be warned, they not only can nip yah, but they also have a scent gland similar to a skunk that they also use in defense. hehe
I'm pretty sure all snakes can scoot up trees and bushes. racers more easily b/c they're so slender.
OK! I'm getting a pet snake! lol
