I'm posting this on behalf of my friend because she doesn't have a Livejournal account:

So, she was on the shot for a couple of years and has been off of it for over two years and still hasn't gotten her period or any sort of spotting.

Has anyone else not gotten their period in over two years because of the shot

i just got on the shot, BUT i have personally known 2 people on it who had difficulty getting their periods back afterwards. they both were on it for over two years. one got her period back within a year, the other took over two years.

yah it took me nearly 3 years to get it back and year of that was constant flow. Now a year later I am getting them back to normal.

I was on it for 2 years and it took me almost 6 to 7 months to get back to normal.

It's normal to not have a period on depo.
