As I was studying yesterday for my calculus final, I came to the conclusion that being a biochem major is making me unhappy.  I loved the biochem courses, don't get me wrong, but I can't go on like this.  I have spent almost a year and a half trying to get the best grades for vet school and I have figured out why I just can't seem to.  I'm more of

I knew that biochem wasn't for you but I didn't know how to tell you. I always wanted to say "Susan, why don't you just major in bio?" I know you are more of a bio-person and there is nothing wrong with that at all. I think you'd make the greatest vet in the entire world! You love animals *especially dogs ^-^* more than anyone I know and would do anything you could for them. That's where you belong, not in boring biochem. You don't need biochem to be a vet

Thanks for the comforting words. I know I'll do much better and be a lot happier with what I do. I will continue to do research, but as a bio major, how wonderful.
