I am officially an author!! The paper my PI was working on will be printed in early 2006! I seriously never thought I would have my name in a publication, let alone a scientific one. WOW!! That has been the highlight of my week. Once finals are over (which is sadly not until next week), I am going to go celebrate...

The first week of work wasn't too bad, but dude it was a tough day today, for several reasons.

1. Went to JCR's get together Saturday night (I had way too much fun)
2. Had one too many martini's yesterday, but there were yummy!!
3. Drove my semi-buzzed ass to Starbucks to meet with Carlos and his relatives

Phew!!  I passed all my classes...YAY!  I got a stupid C in physics and in biology, but I could effing care less!  Oooh, and people, be proud, I passed spanish with an A.  I seriously thought I failed that final.  But, aahh, I can really enjoy my summer break now.

By the way, Sunday evening/night was the greatest!

Monday: Physics final

Wednesday: Biology final

Thursday: Spanish final

Almost done!!  Today will be spent going over Mendelian genetics, Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, a review of mitosis and cell biology.  And if I have spare time, I'm going to workout (stress reliever).

I thought my friend's wedding was going to be one of those over-the-top takes the cake sort of thing, but it wasn't.  It was a very beautiful, simple and elegant wedding ceremony and reception; very intimate.

So, it's official.  I have a boyfriend now.  I am so giddy and happy and...wow...all at the same time, so it's kind of hard to explain things at this moment.  But it was totally cute how he came about asking!
