Relationship Crap

1) What do you look for in a significant other? first and foremost, someone who's open-minded. even if we don't have a lot in common, we can still have chemistry as long as he or she is as accepting of our differences as I am. also, someone who's as strong as I am, and can hold their own, has their own independence. I don't like it when people expect me to be completely responsible for their happiness.
they have to have at least a basic like/understanding for classic rock. that is a definite must. I can teach them the rest. :p
ALSO, they have to have a good work ethic. lazy people just get on my nerves.
I like someone I can actually have conversations with. somebody who can handle my sarcasm and throw their own right back. smart but not one of those snobby "intellectual" assholes. elitists aggravate me.
(in retrospect, I probably have kind of high standards. lol.)
2) 3 major turn-ons? Creativity, toughness, sense of humor.
3) 3 major turn-offs? Weakness, ignorance, narrow-mindedness.
4) What would your ideal significant other look like? that I don't really care about, although someone who is at least physically healthy and not sickly or obese (just because that generally means they're lazy and don't take responsibility for themselves, not because of the way they look. it's the personality that is usually the cause). being physically strong, at least fit, is important too because of the lifestyle I have.
5) Describe your ideal date I'm incredibly easy to please, it's impossible to make me bored, so almost anything. I hate fancy resaurants - actually the ideal date would be outside, FAR away from towns and cities. a nice campfire we can cook our dinner over and then just play guitar and talk, and then sleep under the stars. (and then we could get up in the morning and go for a gallop on our horses. hee.)
(it'd also be nice if they would come up with something spontaneous based on something I've said I'd like to do just in passing. shows that they listen.)

6.) EITHER OR

Love or sex? Love.
Marriage or no? I don't know, I'll make that decision when I come to it. also depends on if it's a woman or a man, because - oh wait, I live in Canada, it's legal here! :D
Looks or brains? BRAINS. you're talking to the girl who used to have a crush on Leonardo the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, lol.
Money or personality? personality. *points to above example* a good personality can make anyone the most beautiful person in the world.
Grilled cheese or caviar? grilled cheese. caviar is nasteh.

Your turn!

7) What is your biggest personality flaw? probably my lack of trust. it would be really hard for me to let myself go around someone, because even if I believed they really cared for me at the time, I would have a hard time believing that they weren't going to leave as soon as something better came around or it became inconvenient for them to be with me.
8) What really good trait could you bring to a relationship? I'm really laid-back and understanding, so I wouldn't be one of those people who would be all uptight about them hanging out with their friends without me, going out without me, etc. also I'm an empath and I listen really well, so it's easy for me to know exactly what my girlfriend/boyfriend needs at any given time.
9) What are your definitions of “attraction” and “love?” attraction is shallow. it usually is just on the physical level, although it sometimes can turn into something more, and after the physical needs are satisfied it tends to disappear. love is hard to describe. it's that can't eat, can't sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, world series kind of thing. (if anyone can guess the movie I just quoted, they get a cookie.)
10)What would you consider your main interests or hobbies? MUSIC, writing, listening to music, riding horses, making music, anything outside, classic cars, motorcycles, Zippos (I love them...), did I mention MUSIC? it kind of owns my soul. :D
