Name: Bridget, nice to meet you! :D
Age: 22
Character Stamped As: Edward Scissorhands, though a lot of people were leaning towards Willy Wonka
Relationship Crap
1) What do you look for in a significant other? All of my completely unsuccessful relationships ended at least partially because the other person put me on a pedestal, worshipped me, and acted as if I had no flaws. I try to look for people who don’t do that and still want to be in a relationship.
2) 3 major turn-ons? Intelligence, Confidence (sometimes bordering on cockiness), and a reasonably dirty mind (without being the Marquis de Sade’s missing brother.)
3) 3 major turn-offs? Extreme insecurity, Clinginess, Normalcy
4) What would your ideal significant other look like? I’ve always been a sucker for ‘tall, dark, and handsome’ though I also like ‘weird, dark, and handsome’. I’ve fallen for lanky guys. I’ve fallen for muscular guys. I don’t like my men to be preened to an extreme. A little scruff and messy hair is always nice.
5) Describe your ideal date You know, I don’t like dates all that much. I like working on an activity and getting close that way with a guy. It’s probably why I’ve dated so many guys in theater - I get to spend rehearsal time with them. If it was a date I’d probably like to go to a really loud and fun concert with a guy - spend the night screaming and singing along with him. Nothing where there is a lot of pressure to talk about what you do and what you like…
6.) EITHER OR
Love or sex? Love is a nice idea, but right now I would have to say sex. I’m not ready for love.
Marriage or no? No
Looks or brains? Brains
Money or personality? It bothers me that this is a tough choice for me. I have decadent tastes and to date someone with money would be great, but isn’t personality the most important thing? I’m torn, truthfully.
Grilled cheese or caviar? Caviar, I’d say. Although, grilled cheese can be nice once in a while.
Your turn!
7) What is your biggest personality flaw? I’m wildly eccentric.
8) What really good trait could you bring to a relationship? I have an open mind which usually makes me tolerant of another person’s flaws (to a certain extent) or open to their wildest ideas.
9) What are your definitions of “attraction” and “love?” Attraction is an animal sort of thing, you know? You just sort of feel it. You feel a pull to this person that you can’t really put into words. Love is smiling and not really knowing why - when you think of a person and feel so nice inside, when you’re glad that you have them around even when they drive you crazy.
10)What would you consider your main interests or hobbies? Ballet, artistic things whether it be writing or the rare painting, cooking, reading…
