Sweeney Todd some Mort, some John, but going with Sweeney, because even Mort had fits of optimism, reaching out to people~albeit in a creepy sort of way. I can only guess John had his moments of whimsy too..being a poet. I have yet to see The Libertine.

Can't I say Sands? Well I do see Sands but I don't see Wilmot or Sweeney, however, I feel the urge to go for someone you haven't mentioned I think partly as you say people can sway things towards what they think or want and yeah I agree, but if that's the case then it's more interesting to give back someone you haven't seen or at least said yourself, and for you that's Dean Corso

I'd definitely vote you Sands if it was available, but since it isn't I'm going to say Sweeney for your general cynicism and your fondness for shiny edged things.
